"Come Home to Comfort"

Responding to renewed interest in the country lifestyle, Country Living fills a unique niche among "shelter magazines." Country Living helped initiate a "country trend" in decorating, collecting and entertaining with its debut in 1978 as a one-time special-interest publication. As a result of its success, the magazine quickly expanded to quarterly, then bimonthly publication. Today, Country Living is the largest selling shelter magazine on the newsstand and the definitive guide to country lifestyle. In the pages of the magazine, readers find the inspiration and the confidence they need to pursue their passions—and ultimately create a comfortable, satisfying life for them and their families.

Each issue brings a fresh approach to a wide range of topics, including:

  • Decorating and collecting
  • Cooking and entertaining
  • Gardening and landscaping
  • Home building, remodeling and restoration
  • Travel and other leisure activities

The Country Living franchise has expanded beyond the magazine to include countryliving.com, books, and licensed products including furniture, specialty food and quilts that are sold on QVC. Signature events for the magazine include the Country Living Fair and Country Living Women Entrepreneurs: A Celebration of Creativity. In 2007, Country Living was named one of Adweek Media’s Brand Leaders.
